Hey all , wanting to get a fish finder for my passport 10.5

Would love a lowrance triple shot but the transducers cant be mounted in the hull and would need to be over the side , which is now making me consider the split shot ..

Does anyone have any ideas for mounting the triple shot transducer over the side , or the split hot transducer in hull ?

Thanks :)

Thanks for the reply unfortunately I have the 10.5 which doesn’t have the transducer ready plate or any holes as in the video you posted

Have watched all them YouTube videos with many regrets I didn’t buy the 12 but I didn’t know at the time and got the 10.5 as it was easier to lift on top of roof racks & double stack with my partners

Thanks , this is one of my options a little worried that the triple shot transducer I would like to mount is a little to big and will brake or cause to much drag . What’s your thoughts ?

My fish guys agree... maybe a bit large and too much drag that could cause the rudder to come up when pedaling faster.

They recommended the over the side kit for the triple shot.

72023035 RAM 18" TRANSDUCER MNT (needs 1" ram ball on the boat)

Do you think a Lowrance reveal 5 w. Splitshot would do well on the rudder? I’ve ordered the hobie ready rudder device. I didn’t realize my 10.5 passport didn’t have a Lowrance mount :(. Wish I could mount it inside
