Has anyone researched ice coolers for the Adventure yet?

Model and Mfg for those that fit.

And keepin them secure for a huli, but still easy to open?

FYI I have seen Apalach's posts on the Outback coolers.

Dan, Aloha, I use the small NRS soft cooler on my BigA. It fits the well across. Does an excellent job of keeping ice, ice a long time. I carry drinks, snacks and lunch in mine. I installed a couple of eye loops and use small bungees to hold it in if you, as you say huli, in Texas we say turtle your boat. Look on the NRS web site to get an idea. kyt

Hey Dan and kyt,
I am still a big fan of those small Igloo 25 qt. marine coolers. I have been planning on taking mine down to the dealer to try it out for fit in the BigA, but just have not gotten around to it as yet. The way those built-in rod holders protrude into the stern well make me wonder if it will fit, however. I now use that cooler as the "crate" in my (wife's) Sport and just toss everything in it. Warm Gatorade tastes just about as good, and probably works just as well, as cold Gatorade anyway!

the igloo 25 qt cooler is a little too big to fit, i use a 10 gal. plastic contaier that i got from sav-on. the manufaturer is home products international inc. and the size printed on the label is 19-1/4 X 14 X 13-1/2. i use it as a bait tank but it could also be used as a cooler
