| Post subject: | New just picked up my 2012 Outback |
Been into Kayak Fishing for a couple of years now and have been getting really serious about stepping up my fishing efforts. Well I decided my old Perception Caster 12.5 just wasn't cutting it when loaded down and fishing the coast of NC. Today my 2012 Outback arrived! I have started outfitting it tonight and will work on it this weekend and do a test run. I choose the Outback after a long time looking at all brands and lots of Hobies. I was really impressed when I got to try an Outback that was the one I wanted. I'm starting to fish some tournaments and can't wait to get this ready for next years season. I look forward to reading all the great info I've seen in here. |

Hi WJ Congratulations on the Outback, I bought one about a year ago they are a great yak to fish out of. I have done some standard modifications, rod holder, fish finder, anchor trolley, turbo fins and sailing rudder and it's a great all round fishing yak. The turbo fins make a huge difference. charlief, I have the Turbo fins installed along with Fish Finder and GPS. The wife and me will take it for it's first test run this weekend. I'm excited to see how she likes it too. |
