I own a TI and am very happy with it. But I am intrigued by the i14T. I've owned an inflatable before, the 6-person Sevylor Fish Hunter, and can see the potential. Has anyone out there sailed both boats? Will the Ama kit work on the i14T? If I sat in the front seat would that be a drier experience than in the back? I weigh 270 pounds so sitting in back is probably not an option. I am already assuming some things. 1) that the sail kit on the i14T will provide a more subdued sailing experience than the sail does on the TI. I can't imagine not trailering my TI. I am 55 years old. The day may come when my living arrangements will be much more modest and storing a TI might become too costly. That is one reason for my interest in the i14T.
