Braved the recent storms and found a window of opportunity to take my son to a known speckled trout location here in VA with a couple of good kayak friends, Dan and Darren. We ended up getting rained on, landed 5 species, braved the nasty winds and current and got the heck out of dodge before the skies opened up on us.

It was a cool but productive day, even though I was relegated to wading. The currents were too strong for my son, and it was becoming too rough for me to hold onto his kayak without fear of tossing him overboard.

Watching, Wading & Wanting More......

Enjoy!
