Anyone seen this yet? It's not out until September but looks promising:

Only thing, my Hobie dealer said to be careful with loading the molded-in scuppers. Probably still going to try it as they are pretty close to useless as-is.

We are not endorsing that expanding wedge mount for the rod tubes. Since our rod holders are roto-molded into the hull, and not an add-on item like in their advertising, they would likely get damaged with that type of load (from the wedge part). We offer the wedge mount for the sail adaptor, but that is a different type of tube, it's injection molded not roto-molded.

Well that's a real bummer! For off-shore fishing I need my rods to be horizontal for launch/landing in case I flip. Even inshore, trees, etc. are a good way to snap a rod tip off. The only purpose the molded-in holders serve for me is maybe a camera mount.
