It's been a great season so far here in the Long Island Sound. Nothing like being out in your Hobie hauling in the bass on a cool June night. Pics from some recent trips:

Those are great looking fish! Miss my fishing trips to Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard.

Damnfisher, Where in L.I. do you fish out of? I'm in Manhasset bay. (North Shore)

I fish from Oyster Bay to the Nisseqouge River. You're lucky. Manhasset Bay has a tremendous spring run. We get them a couple of weeks later. I usually find the best shallow water bite from Memorial Day to the 2nd week of June. All those fish came from about 10 ft. of water, within casting distance of shore.

I have had some great striper fishing in the Cali Delta. But man you LI guys are living in Paradise. Have you heard of Delta Wood Bombers striper plugs?

Dam fisher, I would love to speak with you about fishing and gear. I'm new to this and need a little guidance. It would be a tremendous help. Thanks
