Has anybody else had problems with the rubber keeper breaking. I've had three in a row break on the first pull before they ever saw the water. They all break in the exact same place. I'm not over stretching it. Just the first gentle pull and it snaps immediately. Strange !!

This is a known issue with early deliveries. Should not happen with recent ones, so ask your dealer to file a warranty claim. We will send you new strap parts. Knowing when the dealer got the parts will help us know if it and old or new issue.

I got mine late october, one I didn't install. The other one broke and I had to super glue it. The slot needs to be wider. So we can pull the rubber through with out it breaking. My dealer is about 2 hours away. At least the dealer that sold me my yak and stuff.

Still likely older stock on the dealers shelf... I hope. Same answer. You can call or email the dealer to file a claim and ask them... to ask us to send the parts direct to you.

Darn it... bad material. Place a claim of course.
