My concern is that they might puncture, i.e. a wayward saltwater fly or a fin from a fighting fish, then what?

Guess you might have to carry a inner tube patch kit?? Actually, I imagine these things are fairly puncture proof, since Hobie pretty well knows the kind of use and abuse their owners may be giving them. I have yet to see a pair, so I can't really say for certain.

They are not puncture proof, however I don't belive you would have any problem with them. They seem to be very very rugged! Apalach if your in the Panama City Beach area swing by and take a look, I also have a Rev you can put in the water and test out to give everyone an on water report!
