Does anyone know when the 2015 Hobies will be out and what the 2015 Outback with the new style seat will cost. I have a similar seat on another brand and have used the Hobie 12 and 14 several times; those seats are nice!!!

I have been waiting to buy; it looks like the time has come.

Thanks!!

Ray

The new Outback looks like a positive real game changer in the fishing kayak market.

I have used a similar but less in comfort seat in my Freedom Hawk 12 and Pathfinder.

Your butt stays dry, and your back is more comfortable with these seats. Also, they make great stripping baskets for fly fishers.

The standup rail is standard on the Freedom Hawks, and they make yakking and fishing more comfortable. If your legs need to stretch, you just pull your self and stand up. Of course standing helps vision wise, casting and landing a fish.

Hobie's new standup rail looks really great and better than the Freedom Hawks.

All the gear mounting abilities of the new Outback appear to be great. The built in Lowrance mount is excellent.

I will be looking for a buyer for my Freedom Hawk Pathfinder with a custom fitted Bass Yak motor to make room for a new Hobie Outback.

Does anyone have the dimensions, aka, width and length of the New Outback and its bare weight and loaded weight?
