Nice video. Are the clevis pins drilled through both 2x4s or just 1 & sandwiched in between? Thanks!

The clevis pins are sandwiched inbetween the 2x4's.

Good news is that the Jackson Elite seat will fit the seat well & over the backrest hump of the Revo 11 & 13. Bad news is that a riser will be needed, and the center of gravity is already way elevated, elevated beyond my balance comfort zone.

This seat will not fit in the Sport.

I am returning all 3 seats and will be out close to $120 in shipping back & forth for this 5 minute experiment. I took one for the Revo team, now you decide.

Thanks for the inspiration though!

Sorry to hear that staktup but not surprised. I have been a Rev a few times and they are not as stable as the Outback. That said i have yet to roll my Outback with the Jackson seat in it, and i have taking it over some really good size boat wakes and choppy currents in the Intracoastal Waterway.

Xi Bowhunter i put the same seat in my Outback too and it`s working out fine for me too. Best thing is it is much easier get out of after 4 or 5 hours out on the water and the better view.

On page 3 of this post i show an adapter that really helps bring the rudder control into reach.

Did you glue your risers in also? I'm looking to do this here in the next couple of days.

crazy_train the pads under the seat are attached to the yak with high strength Velcro glued down with 3M 5200 adhesive. The Velcro works great holding the seat down but i use some zip ties too for backup. I have rarely taken the seat out in the 11 months its been in the yak.

My 2013 Outback with Jackson Seat with a different install method than most - much simpler, cheaper and in my opinion a better way to go:

I am interested in making this mod to my outback but I cant find the elite seat anywhere. Only the 2.0 & 3.0. Does anyone know where I can purchase the original Elite seat?

Thanks in advance

Has anyone tried the Attwood seat with the Outback? I would think it has just as much stability as the other mod choices given here but far more comfortable. See the Attwood thread for photos and info.
