Broadwaytackle.com is getting a shipment in next month. I spoke to Larry the owner. He said they have arrived on the west coast and will be at his location soon. I just ordered one. Now....looking for a decent battery that won't sink my yak !!

Thanks for the tip, I'm interested again in making one of these.

I've decided to go with the design that fits into the rod holder. I like the quick in/out without having to remove the Mirage drive.

I took delivery of the WaterSnake few days ago. I ended up using a dremel to cut the clamp housing off of the shaft.
Any other way would be a nightmare.

I used a Wonder-troll 606 and a Pflueger M-312 for my 2 Outback Kayaks. I have Photos of the install. Best part of this Mod is that the unit plugs in out of the way and control switches are right where you rest your hands when traveling. I even pulled my granddaughter around my pond the other day with no trouble using this 12 lbs. thrust trolling motor. Its powered by a 36 amp/hrs battery from Harbor Freight $ 55.00 when you use the 20% off coupon. I have pictures of the setup but I need some instructions on how to add Images to the post.

Set-up the PVC rod holder rig this morning. Minn Kota battery case secured behind the seat of my Revo13.
I can't wait for the weather to break so I can get out on the water. School size stripers are in the bays, which is always some good catch and release fun. Most likely next week I'll get out there.

Got out on the water today with the new WaterSnake.........looking for a few schoolie stripers using my fluke rig.
Got hammered by a 10-12 lb blue.........what a fight
