I have the balloon tires (30 size) from a different cart.
I just bought the trax2-30 cart frame only.
To my surprise the axle of the plug in cart is very thin even "anemic" compared to the much beefier axle of my previous cart. the Issue I have now is that how to fill the wheel hub with such small axle.
Any suggestions?
PVC pipe?
Does hobie have a part for this that i also need to buy?

Am I clear in this description?
Thanks

We don't have adapters. I would contact wheeleez directly for suggestions.

Check out this item:

http://thekayakfishingstore.com/product ... ller-cart/

They take a C-tug and add wheeleez. You can do it yourself and they have a kit. I'm just sharing it because perhaps you can get some ideas. If you search the tubes for c-tug and wheeleez you can find long forum posts where the guy developed the concept.

No, it doesn't solve your need, but I think its really interesting and probably the cart solution I would prefer at a lower price.

Try to find some aluminum tube the right size to make some bushings, there's a picture on the link in the previous post of the adapters.
I had the opposite problem, I drilled out the hubs of the heavy duty wheels on the plug in cart so I could use them on the dolly if needed in addition to the balloon wheels.

Funny, you put that up the c-tug cart
I actually have that same cart - It is the source of my wheeleez tires. I bought it from the gentleman that designed it.

However, that cart works great with regular kayaks but not as well with the hull of bigger fishing kayaks.
I just sold my native slayer propel 13 in order to fund a hobie

Funny. Glad to hear you give it a good review.

What bigger fishing kayak are you envisioning when you think the c-tug wont work? From the videos it looks like it can handle most of them. Maybe not a PA. I have seen that they offer a simple adapter to fit two c-tugs together to carry more weight. Watch the videos online if you haven't. Some funny stuff with them riding kayaks over dunes and crashing etc.

I used 7/8 tubing chucked up in my friends lathe . And turned it down with a shoulder , you will need to drill a 13metric or a 1/2 hole in the bar stock . And cut too length . If you do it right you will not need any other spacer .kube with marine grease
