Where do you put 8' stakeout pole while pedaling on Revolution 2018?

On old 2010 model there were paddle leash bungees on both sides so allowing paddle on right side and stakeout pole on left side which worked perfect, but new model only has bungee on right side where paddle goes. Pole is light and thin so not much needed to hold it, but it is long. Rear crate is possible but that seems annoying since already have multiple rods back there and stakeout pole is 8' hi so may get in the way. Could drill holes and put little rubber holders on side, but not real sure how to do that (e.g., do holes go all the way thru, how do you hold nut on inside of hull, is a nut even needed, how to make it waterproof, etc).

Either an additional rod holder (part # 72020015) mounted to the H-Crate wall or a couple of G-Holds.

RB G-HOLD 50MM(2") SINGLE BLK
US$ 15.99

Each G-hold does require a mounting base (refer to pages 34/35 in the current catalog). There's track mount, heavy duty and standard options: https://cdn.hobiecat.com/digital_assets ... 1474903011

Do you mind if it sticks out of the back of your Revo? Might be a bit too much overhang but - if it works - why not simply run your stakeout pole to the left of your seat while passing the rest of the pole behind you? You'd need to pass the tip of the pole underneath the last bungee in the back to hold it in place (hope this makes sense). You could let the handle run free or wrap another bungee on the side of your seat to hold it (i.e. make a small loop with anything). Or (best I think) use a taco clip which is track mounted just to the left and behind your seat. You'd have to work out the best placement of the taco clip to make sure that it doesn't interfere with your crate, rod holders, etc. If this works then all you'd have to do is pull the stakeout pole forward to use it and then run it back to secure it.
Hope this helps!

Side Bar - Make sure that your paddle also fits in the taco clip. By doing so you have the flexibility of placing your paddle in the clip. Then you should be able to place your push pole in the starboard side bungee paddle holder.
