Are Hobie PA-14's sinkable? :?: :?: :?:
Can more styrofoam floatation be added in the rear stern compartments, which are basically useless for storage anyway? :?:
Will any old styrofoam suffice (? - such as pool noodles ?) or must it be a certain density?

I've managed to displace one block of foam in my PA, and wondered where and how to put back in proper place???

I heard that somebody left their drainage holes open during a tournament, prompting a bit of a crisis.
Are these things unsinkable, like Boston Whalers ???
Or will they sink like a rock?

Thank you.

Hobie adds positive flotation inside every kayak and has for many years now. We follow guidelines set by the national marine manufacturers association. This adds flotation enough to keep you and the hull afloat even if filled with water.
