I recently bought a used 2015 Mirage Revolution 11. I'm new to the whole kayaking fishing experience. I took it out yesterday and can tell it's going to get some getting used to. I brought way to much stuff with me for starters lol. Anyhow, I have 2 fishing rods and a net that fits into the rod holder. However, with only 2 rod holders I was hoping one of my rods would fit into the Sailing mount but it doesn't. The sailing mount is quite small, any suggestions for getting an extension or something to turn the sailing mount into a rod holder? Thanks in advance! Patti |

Personally I would probably hack up some pvc rod holder that could hold another one (or more) other rods... |

Ram Mount makes a ball that fits in the sail mount. The company makes a couple of different rod holders to fit that ball. That's what I use but I can't remember the exact combination. I use it mainly to hold the rod when I'm unhooking a fish or re-rigging. You could find it on either Amazon, Austin Kayak, or your local dealer. |
