While I prefer to throw artificials, I also like to have fish for dinner now and then. Some days, these pesky critters won't go for anything other than live bait. This is why I sometimes carry along a dozen or so live minnows and/or shrimp as a back-up plan. Hey DS,
Very nice rig and easy to adapt, as well. Like you, I have gone over almost exclusively to artificials, plus I prefer to do CPR now. That is, unless I happen to get a gut-hooked fish that won't survive anyway. Thanks for the tips.
