Hello all,

I am trying to mount a Lowrance Hook2 to the '17 Outback. Thinking the best solution is a 1" Ram mount with YackAttack GearTrac. I'm separated from the Kayak right now so I can't measure it. How wide are the side "channels" where I'd install the track? I believe the GearTrac is 1" wide. Has anyone else used this setup or have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance - finding dimensions online is super hard!

Plenty of room for all mentioned - the trays are a little over 2" wide.

I recommend a 1" Scotty Track 80048021 (good for one accessory) + 1" RAM Track Ball 72023058 + 1" RAM Arm for Hook2 72023060. This setup allows you to quickly remove the whole system and have nothing exposed when cartopping. The small gear track would stay of course, but that's it.
