These only seem to last a year before they rust out. Nobody has them in stock right now, any suggestions on a replacement? Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I only fish about 20 days a year and I hose out the livewell after every trip.

Early reed switches had an issue where the glass would crack and the inert gas would leak out. This leads to corrosion and then function issues. This should not be a problem since over a year ago we changed the way the reed (glass tube) was bedded in the housing. These should be available now.

I updated the image URL, hopefully you can see the image now. Mine rusted outside of the glass. I located a new switch, any tips on how to seal this to prevent another failure?

Sealant to stop any water ingress in the ends of the wires.
