Post subject:  Hobie Anchor Trolly help

Finally got my anchor trollies in at the local dealer. We were looking at the parts and noticed that there wasn't any instructions on where all these parts are supposed to go. I've searched around the net, hobie site, and kfs with no luck. Has anytone installed the hobie kit, and might be able to scan the instructions?

Thank you Matt and the guys at Mariner Sails for the awsome customer service. And just in time for a trip to the coast. 8)

It's all Matt's fault that we didn't have it for you sooner.

Have a good trip.... And bring me some dang pictures of the fish you catch. Everybody promises pictures, but nobody every delivers. I think all you kayak fishermen are just drinking beer and not actually fishing.

Post subject:  Does one really need a trolley?

I fish solo in an Oufitter, and I find I can easily get up and move around the kayak when I am underway or tethered off. I typically tether my bow or stern to a buch of kelp, then just climb up there and untie when I am done. Is there some mystical reason why this same method won't work for an anchor?

Just confused about why someone in such a stable kayak really needs a trolley (seems like more gear to deal with and more lines to tangle up...)

Thanks

Brent
