Was wondering if anyone else has had a crack where the seat plugs into the hull. I have a crack the full length of the plug well. Water just pours into the hull from it. Been noticing a little water in the hull lately and was wondering where it was coming from. Came home from fishing and was rinsing off the kayak and could hear water running into the hull. Anyway going into the dealer with it tomorrow and would like to know if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks, Jim

Jim,

This problem is discussed on another forum. It is a good discussion including how to avoid the problem and how to reinforce the seat plug holes. Link: http://kfs.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5086057385/m/5671028444

Went into Jerry B's in Corpus Christi, and they are giving me a new kayak. No hassle, just great service. Thanks to Hobie and Jerry for standing behind their product. Jim
