Hello All !!!This my first post. I have two hobie outbacks and want to use my lowrance X-125 fish finder. My question is should I buy the portable power supply from LEI products or some aftermarket set up. My X125 has the blue screw in type connectors ,so I would want something that would hook up to those as I am not an electronic wiz guy. any info is good???

I use a Yuasa motorcycle battery in my own rig I've played with gel filled batts and know them to be tricky on charging as to where the bike batt is not I use the YTZ series of battery as it is a fully sealed battery its lite w8 and I think the one I use is a YTZ5 I use double sided velcro tape to secure it into place the gel filled batt was from a home security system it was a back-up power source it was small lite w8 and performed well but did not live long when subjected to some of the charging varibles I subjected it to on my travels.
