I have a 2012 Outback which has seen the water 3 times. The steering handle has become loose. I can pick it up vertically in relation to the deck it's mounted to. Any suggestions from anyone who may have had this problem?http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/posting.php?mode=post&f=27#

the handle can lift up if you pull it - there is a spring that holds tension on it - but you can overcome that spring by lifting - but if what you're saying is that it has come apart from the crank - then it's just a simple matter of the screw has backed out - it should still be in the handle - under the 'h' decal - just remove the decal - re-tighten the screw (use a touch of blue loctite) and you should be all set again.
