Finally got my boat wet flyfishing for some nice rainbows in BC. Motor, electronics, anchors all worked great. It was my first time even being in a kayak but I'm hooked now.

Excellent and you will never look back!
The only other consideration is to add a down rigger as the surface water warms up.

My favorite lake surface temperature is now 56F and I am down rig at 25 to 50 feet......I hooked a nice 6 pound 2 ounce German Brown last week, at 40 feet!
