I took my new revo on a her maiden voyage sunday and caught my limit as well. The mirage drive unit really helped in landing these reds.

my stringer for the morning. I got on the water at 7:00am and had my limit by 8:30. Two were 24 inches and the other was 25 inches.

...I'm down here in the Corpus Christi area. I went out yesterday afternoon, mainly for testing the yak some more. I did try for a few trout this time but no takers.

...No, I'm not sure what that is. These guys were caught in the aransas pass area.

Ahhh... Same kind of structures up that way.

Bird is part of Padre Island National Seashore. It's on the Laguna side about 1 mile south of the entrance gate. It's a popular windsurfing and fishing area. There's a major boat ramp - more and more of the outgoing flat bottoms are hauling kayaks. Some of the kayaks launch from the windsurfing area. I've seen some monster reds and trout pulled out of the water around there.
