Hey gwiz,
Awesome job on the video and the clever spray shield. I'm a big fan of the K.I.S.S. principle, and although your next version of the spray shield might look "prettier, I would be willing to betcha it won't work any better! Great job and thanks for sharing via the video.
Best,
Dick

Yep, thats a good video. Have watched it three times now. Are you paddling the drive at specific times? Like for a tack or something?

Also, do you know of any videos taken of the Adventure Island sailing that were taken from another boat? The ones I have seen were taken from inside the boat. I am hoping someone has one taken from an adjacent boat.

I was peddaling to keep the nose from going too far into the wind, and because my dagger board wasn't bunjed back to keep it down. I realized it about 1/2 through the video and didn't have to pedal near as much afterward.

I am the only fool out there when conditions are right for movie making. Maybe once there are more than 1 in the area there will be others foolhardy enough.

I have posted more pics of the spray apron on the 30 days free web site here is the link to the album. It folds foward without need to unhook. To fold back either untie the front attachment cord that runs back into cockpit or unhook bunjies from the side you want to fold back.

I will probably make it a little longer so that about a foot will hang down behind the back clips and I will place the outer back clips closer to the outside edge. Other than those changes I believe it to be the ticket to dry sailing.

gwiz, My spray suit has finally arrived in the mail today, might know
