Last couple times I went out, I had non-sailors up front. One had zero experience and the other doesn't really dig the whole sailing rigamarole. Long story short...stiff bodies = wet hair.

On the other hand, when I'm solo, or with my sailing buddies, control is never an issue. When the mind, body, and boat work as one...hair stays dry.

Adding ballast makes a big difference! I'm 128 lbs and sail an older Outback with 20 lbs of pea gravel in a dry bag in the rear hatch just behind the seat. Haven't been blown over since I did that. Sounds like adding some ballast to the front will help as well - good idea.
