Hi, I am about to change my 2011 AI for the newer model, and have the choice of 2015 and 2016 models.
I note that the 2016 has changes to the thro hull wire plugs, and padeye xl.
Are there any other changes, and does anyone have a picture of the changes to help me decide please?

Not entirely answer your question, I think it will help.

Other changes? Nothing more than you noted that I can think of.

Matt, thanks for your reply, I have now taken delivery of my new AI 8) (with 2016 serial number), looking forward to my first sail!

I have noticed that there are two brass threaded inserts in the hull at the back of the seat recess in the hull (where the back of the vantage seat rests), but I cant see what they are for, there is nothing with the boat or in the instructions. Can you advise please?

Many thanks

The inserts are just built into the hull to give the seat back something solid to rest on - there is nothing to do with those - leave them alone.
