I would advise against it...
because of getting the sail I now have a tandem island!!

I have a 2015 Outback & I have a lead on a sail kit that is listed as new. All I do is fish with my kayak. Is a sail kit worth it? What would you pay? |

The sail kit will greatly extend your range and speed, provided there is some wind, so fishing can take place further away or you can get to the usual spots more quickly. Plus, sailing is great fun. The Hobie sail kit is easily worth the $300 or so dollars, in my opinion. |

I got the sail kit when I bought my outback,. Lots of fun and worth it. Make sure you put leashes on your gear. |

well that depends... I like a sporty sail so I do not use them, I just lean and play the sheet to keep it upright. if you are wanting to relax and enjoy a beverage or troll then they would probably be beneficial. |
