Have 2 Star sail, small - same size as Hobie, medium which is 2.2 (not sure) both excellent, wear well, little maintnance, just an occassional fresh water wash.
They furl well, I store them in pvc pipe which is a permanent fixture on the car, so have survived 3 years of tropical sun cooking, I sail in FNQ. so they get that, might add my yak lives up there too, & is still prestine colour, no fading. all get get afresh water wash once a month, otherwise always ready 'to go 4 a sail'
As I sail a Revo11, & weigh in at 56ks I wanted a sail that 'set well' was easy to furl 'on the go' but retain forward drive. Star fits the bill, just work out a smooth furling sytem and you will be low maintnance sailing for a good few years.
