Has anyone modified there Hobie Lanai to use a sale kit? I currently have a Hobie Mirage Oasis and I would like to use the sail occasionally when I want to go out alone. I realize I will have to use a center board which will be easy to install.
I also have a plan for an easy rudder system. I am curious what the best way to mountt the sail would be? Any ideas anyone?

No really possible using the Hobie sail on a boat without drive and rudder. The drive adds the lateral resistance required to sail up wind. Otherwise... you can only really go down wind.

Thank you for the idea. I decided to buy a used Mirage Sport and sell my Lania.
