Hi,
This is my first post. I have a 2014 Tandem Island which I car-top on my Subaru Outback. I have found that while unloading the TI by myself, the rear crossbar makes a great handle for lifting and balancing the boat. Is this okay to do? It seems like a strong and secure part of the boat, but as it's also a critical piece, I'd hate to damage it. All seems fine and solid, but I thought I'd ask if others do the same or have thoughts on the matter.

Thanks,
Andrew

Yes, OK to use as a handle. Just not as a long term storage / hanging.

Looking at buying a hiab truck for work in the next year.

Would it be ok to hiab the ai from the crossbars onto the beach?
