I've got a 2005 Hobie Mirage Outback Hank Parker. I've got the sail kit and have used it for 2 years now on Lake Erie. I was wondering if adding the AMA Sidekick kit would enable be to sail it beyond the original wind parameters for the sail kit, i.e., can I go out in brisker wind without worrying about capsizing. Also, has anyone had any problems mounting the brackets behind the seatback without blocking the storage well aft of the seat? |

Yes, the SideKick will help you feel more comfortable and save you from most capsize situations. The kit does block the cooler area a bit, but can be mounted in many different locations with similar results for sailing. |
