Thanks Jerry.
Any pics of your jib?
After using Turbos and the ST's (on wife's drive) I couldn't go back to the standard flippers -the difference in performance is well worth the possible negatives. We suffered the elongated drum holes (drums replaced by Hobie -no dramas :) ) but I think the risk of hull damage on the tandem is extremely rare and would definitely be covered under warranty. I really like the increased power at a slower cadence the Turbos provide and the benefit for sailing is noticeable.

Post subject:  Oasis SideKick forward mounting specs

On my installation (which should be pretty close to Damien's):
1. The distance from the REARmost point on the circumference at the top of the mast hole to the closest point on the SideKick crosspipe is exactly 4 9/16" = 4.5625" (115mm?).

2. The distance from the center of the crosspipe to the closest point on the hull (rear of front seat back area at the center of the kayak's longitudinal hull centerline), is exactly 9/16" = .5625" (14mm?).

Post subject:  F-16 Pilot during Nuclear Flash

I don't have a pic handy of my jib (1/2 of a Kmart shower curtain duct-taped to 3/16" nylon rope), but it hangs on a rope that runs from the bow bracket back under my left SideKick arm to the stern bracket, then up to the top of the mast, thru the sail, then back to the bow bracket. It's rather complicated - I'll post pics someday, but sounds like Stringy you have your hands full already with projects! I like your leeboard idea, and am going to try to use an old plastic meat cutting board or something to try it out on mine (using PVC pipe inside of the SideKick for strengthening).

In lieu of a jib pic, here is a pic of yours truly flying my F-16 during a nuclear flash:
