Just received my new white H20 main and purchased a new jib last year, in both cases neither sail came with tell tales or a new bag. Are these items not included with the most expensive set of sails Hobie sells? In the last three year i have bought new Hobie sails for my H16 and H14 both which included them. Why would these be any different?

The H20 set is made by a different loft and they do not include a bag in the cost.

Really? You guys got me feeling like a real fool. last year six members of the Charleston 20 fleet did a group buy for a set virtually identical to Hobie sails at $1800 a piece from SLO. Some how they were able to include a high quality bag and tell tales. I elected to save up and pay twice as much because I take my boat to HCANA events and I thought in the end Hobie would provide a better product. The fact that you would exclude such an inexpensive yet crucial elements gives me great confidence in the investment I've made...

Has more to do with factory direct sale vs supplier / dealer / retail sale. SLO is factory direct so has much more room to work with pricing. We support a dealer network which means we all share the margins at every turn.
