Does anyone have some photos of a rigged miracle that you can see the jib sheet and barber hauler.Actually the whole boat rigged. |

Lots of ways to rig these. I used a becket block, and ran the jib sheets through the block and becket (2 blocks would be better, but would add weight; some people just use a stainless ring and run both sheets through the same ring). I ran the barberhauler line out to a bloack at the end of the beam, and then under the tramp and out a grommet to a cam cleat. I used slides for the tramp track to mount the cam cleat on. Helps keep the tramp a little cleaner, and keeps crew on the high side for those windy bear-aways. I sewed a plastic ring under the tramp where the barber haulers cross just to keep the lines up against the tramp. some folks run a seperate jib sheet through the beam-end block, and play that downwind (almost like a spinnaker sheet), instead of using a barber hauler.
