Anybody know the pitch and diameter of the Tiller Crossbar adjustment arm...Part 4054000001 I need to make a jam nut to make it more secure.. |

More secure? The tiller crossbar threaded adjuster? This cannot move when connected to the tiller arms. Just wondering why you would want it to lock? The thread looks like it is 5/8" - 11? Perfect thread? |

Thanks I was at work and did not have access to boat. The threads must be a little sloppy. I thought a jam nut would beef up the joint. |
