I just bought a 2004 Hobie 20. It came with a spinnaker setup, pole and two spinnakers. I am not going to use the spinnaker. He paid $2500 for everthing. Looking for $1200

I live in NY and have 2 hobie 20's - just completely rebuilt the boats to absolute perfection....I have two spin poles and various hardware if you are interested....happy to help if you need any technical assistance also...we are running hobie 18 spins on custom carbon poles along with many modifications....should be a great August/September!

Does a hobie 18 spinnaker kit work well with the 20?

I am making good progress on my spin conversion for the H20. I will post pictures and will make a detailed guide for rigging a hobie 20 with an f18 spin so it's easier for other people to do.

Looks really good. Did you use the SNU setup for the snuffer on the pole. How far from the top of the mast is your halyard attachment point? What spinnaker are you using? Ryan

Frank used a F18 spin & rig he bought from me, along with an aluminum pole from Forespar. Don't recall where the snuffer came from.
I'm sure he'll fill you in on the rest of the details. I'm glad he's getting use out of it!
