I am trying a little experiment on my Hobie 20. I have added the EPO blades to see if the slightly smaller, but significantly stiffer blade will work on this boat. Any thoughts on this? So far the helm feels more solid/responsive. I have not had a chance to test vs. another H-20 to see if pointing or speed is better or worse, but it feels really good.

I hate to reply to my own post, but are the standard hobie 16/18 blades class legal for this boat? The rules call for hobie supplied blades, and these are, so are they legal??? If I am going to Alameda, I need to know .
