I’m thinking about adding a trapeze height adjuster to the crew trapeze lines. The skipper needs to start moving back as the wind starts to blow, say above 15knots, but the crew trapeze line won’t let the crew move back further than the shroud. The adjuster would allow the crew to move behind the shroud and stay next to the skipper.

Has anyone tried this?

Thoughts on this are appreciated.

Thanks,

An adjustable system is nice, but the trapeze system when standard does allow crew to move aft. I never used an adjustable system. Set the trapeze level lower so when you move aft you are not too high. Set the crew dogbone to just about touch the deck just aft of the shroud. That should be close.
