My Hobie 21 rotator wishbone is forever loosening from the jam cleat on on the boom. I use a two-to-one advantage, but it never seems to stay tight. Has anyone found a better, more leveraged, way to keep that taught?

Thinner line maybe? Fuzzy line that will hold better? New cleat.

Trying to imagine your set up...but..I'd modify it to a cam cleat, like this one: http://www.murrays.com/56-30701.html

That or switch the stock jam cleat out for something more secure or use a thicker line.
