Super excited!

Purchased a 1992 H20 Miracle this past weekend with galvanized trailer in excellent condition. I have lots of homework to do to learn how the step the mast and get her all rigged up so that we can go out for our maiden voyage.

Instead of lurking here I'm sure that you will hear a lot of stupid questions from me. For now all I have are pics on the trailer but I'll take some more and post.

Hi Mgrant,

We have a pretty active H20 Fleet in Northern California. Check out the following link for our schedule. We have fun sails as well and would love to see you. http://div3.hobieclass.com/regattas/
The Woodward Regatta is coming up and it is a nice warm lake to sail/learn in. We will probably have 8-10 H20s sailing.

Would this be the one that sold recently in Santa Rosa?

Scott,

I had talked to Wind Toys over in Sausalito when I was doing my homework and they said that you guys are very active and have a lot of fun, maybe a little crazy, but fun...LOL. Thanks for the link. I'm definitely going to start out with a few fun sails. I may just show up for an event to ask for help to step the mast and get her all rigged correctly. Until I invest in wet suits for myself and my son the bay is off limits so warm lake water sounds really good. Half the parts don't even resemble my old H16.

Let's see if I get this to work. This is my only pic so far. Didn't have much time to do anything with my new toy over the weekend. I was investing in sailing green cards.

No, but I did look at Tyler's boat in RWC which was in good condition and Tyler was super cool. He had a lot of extra gear as well. I'm glad that he sold it.

This one was sitting up in Dobbins (North of Yuba City/Marysville).

Bring it to Woodward May 20 & 21st !
It would be a great learning weekend for you and your crew.

Nice warm lake, Fleet 20 rents the group camp site where you can camp next to your boat!

This is the best regatta of the Year for new sailors.

I totally agree. I printed out the flyer already. Now I just need to convince my family that this would be fun. I have to be honest...but my family has actually never been camping. Are there any hotels nearby? My wife's view of roughing it is that the hotel doesn't have a spa. On the map Woodward is about 2 hours south of our house. Maybe my son and I can make it a day trip.

Thanks/MG

Right-click on the actual image in Imgur, then paste between the [img] tags in the forums. The URL for your image is https://i.imgur.com/LKHzeJV.jpg (note that it ends in .jpg).
