Nationals RV parking

Post subject:  Nationals RV parking
Does anyone have any new information on if and where there will be RV parking for the Nationals in Alameda? NOR says they're working on it but I haven't heard anything.

There is a shopping center directly across the street from the regatta hotel. Has anyone tried to negotiate a deal with the mall owner/property manager? There looks to be a lot of construction going on so parking may already be a problem for them, but it would be worth a try. Call Paul Hess and ask him about it.

Post subject:  RV parking at the Hobie 16/20 Nationals.
We have secured a parking area for RVs during the Nationals. It is between the Encinal Yacht club and a large apartment building at Marina Village. We are limited to 10 RVs at this location. We will have 5 more RVs for the race commitee only at the race site.
The welcome party Monday night will be at the Encinal Yacht Club, very handy for the RV crowd.
It is less than a 10 minute drive across the Island to the race site.
There are no hook ups, we are planning on having a mobile pump out service come by one morning mid week.

We will have an RV coordinator, we just don't know who that is yet :)
