 Post subject: Tensioning the Mast

Does it matter what her or not the mast is stepped before I tension it? And if I can do it with it raised, should the rigging be loose first?

Diamond wires? Either way. Usually when raised and rig is tensioned as I recall.

Mast diamond tension is easier when the mast is down, rig tension is easier after the mast is stepped.
