That's called "growing your own crew" :)

Used to be a surf board company that made sailboats. Then a camping gear mfg that made sailboats.

Don't forget the RC planes.

That was the first Hobie Hawk as I remember it. Funny Matt Miller never had one of these, but then he few all sorts of RC gliders, then converted those into RC land yachts...

...When my 20 dies, which shouldn't be too long the way Matt sails it when I crew, I will start looking at the modified Fox as an option. It may not be class legal, but it will surely move and it will be a HOBIE.

By the way, has anyone ever had a "friend" try to drown them while sailing on a windy day just because they were trapeezing upsidedown (hand stand)? Just curious...

Mike, mike, mike... Lets place the blame for your little antics where they belong... on you big guy!

Who the heck does a hand stand while double trapped doing 15-20? You almost took me off the back of the boat with you. Just happened I was holding you under water by sitting on your head, with my feet in the air... still doing 10 knots! But, I did keep us from flipping.

Beware the unusual when sailing with Mr. Hammond! He still thinks he is a teenager!

Not sure I have EVER laughed so hard.

:)

That thud you may have just felt was not a SoCal earthquake, it was me laughing my ass off and falling out of my chair. It's tough being big.
