Dan:

Will the cats be launching off the beach at the Claremont or Granada ramps, or at the ABYC? My wife and I want to go watch the boats. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the boats will be launching from Claremont ramp.

It will be pretty mixed. There are some Tigers that are showing up on Friday launching from ABYC. There is an A Cat clinic on Friday at ABYC, probably about 8 A's. All of these boats will be on the beach, next to the Yacht Club on the bayside, Friday night and Saturday morning.

Anyone that gets there on Saturday morning will be, most likely, launching from Claremont Ramp.

Registration and skippers meeting will be at the Yacht Club.

There will be a band on Friday night at the Yacht Club for your enjoyment. Eileen and I are BBQueing our dinner at the club on Friday night. Feel free to bring something to put on the barby mate. Saturday night is a Yacht Club BBQ dinner for $12.

Later,
Dan

Dan and g:

Thanks for the information. My wife and I are sailing a UCLA Hobie 16 on Friday afternoon and, depending on what time we get in and how beat we are, we may stop by the ABYC to introduce ourselves and see what's going on. Regardless of Friday's plans, however, we do plan to drop by the Claremont ramp on Saturday morning to see how the racers set up their cats and to learn any tips from them. See you there!

Will any Tigers be there Friday? I’m thinking of getting there at around noon to rig the boat and maybe do some tuning if anyone is interested...? -Dennis

Yes there will be boats there today. I am planning on sailing hopefully about 3:00. If Eileen can make it in time.

Others will be Tim Parsons, Mark Lewis, and Jacob Sailor. There was another that was more local but I cannot remember who that was.

Call be when you get here.

Later,
Dan
