What is the best way to tie up the loose ends of the spinnaker sheets.

Reef knot comes loose.
Had issues with duct tape coming loose.

Considering taking up sewing lessons.

I tie a square knot and then sometimes tape the ends with electrical tape...always worked fine for me!

On the FXone I sewed a loop in one end, then I just ran the other through the loop and tide a stopper knot. On the Viper I actually just melt the ends together, that's super clean.

I put a small line in the middle which attaches to the sail then have some small line spliced at the ends which tie together on the trampoline. For the line that attaches to the sail I put eye splices in each side of a spectra line which is about 18 inches long I push one through the middle of the sheet line with a fid then loop it back to itself for the lock. I have to lace the spin sheet trough the grommet to install on the sail but it makes for a clean pass around the forstay.

Later,
Dan
