The Delta Ditch Run is Saturday, June 12th. Race info is here: http://www.stocktonsc.org/ditch/index.html Dan DeLave did a cool Google Earth flyover for last year's run. http://vimeo.com/4532709 Photos from last year: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=12520 It's 72 miles of flat water, mostly downwind action. You start in Richmond and finish in Stockton. There are already several F18s signed up with others that I know are coming. They are starting us an hour earlier (10:30 for our start) this year so we can finish a little earlier. Last year it was 5:30-6:00 hours. 65 degrees when you start in Richmond and 85-90 when you finish in Stockton. The Glasers won last year by about 30 seconds after 72 miles and who knows how many jibes. Good times- come out if you can. |

I am considering joining the fun in my Getaway. Is that a bad idea? Also where can I find the logistics on trailering etc. |

Getaway ? Maybe with a spin. It was done on a wave spin last year. 12 hours. You rig at richmond, then drive your trailer to stockton and at 6 am there is a bus from stockton to richmond. |

Maybe see if the organizers can go back to back with the S.F. NOOD for 2011. I think a bunch of us pale skinned rum drinkers from the Northwest could be convinced to make a double weekend of it. |

I am going to make the trek in a hobie 18. Does anyone know where I can find the phrf rating for the boat. The online application is asking for it. I am running a spinaker and wings if that makes any difference. Any help is appreciated. I did some looking on line and am just going in circles. Thanks, |

Anyone need crew for the Ditch. Chris from Socal is looking to crew. He ran with me last year good crew and also a good C-class skipper. Or you may be able to tow his boat up and run the C-class. |

Just the standard Hobie chute for the 18. It came with the boat when I bought it so I don't know much more than that. |
