I don't know the age of my Tiger, its sail number is 1131 which I believe makes it a 2003 model. However there is an aluminium plate on the back beam which reads "annee 01". Bit confused really. |

There should be some numbers etched on the stern starboard hull...the last 2 numbers is the year. My old sail number was 1047 and it was a 2004 model. |

Thanks for your reply, The number moulded into both hull transoms is FR. HCE00079E101, so its a 2001 model. So my sail number (1131) is not correct for the boat?, I have seen advertised a 2001 Tiger who's number was 500(ish). |

Yep...you have a 2001 model. That's prolly not the original sail. |

As a point of reference...the 2002 Alter Cup was sailed on Hobie Tigers in Syracuse, NY. The sail numbers ranged from 1110 to 1122. The sails were white with blue batten pockets and blue with a white star spinnakers. John Bauldry 2002 Alter Cup Beach Captain |
