Got the hole drilled (5/32) but looks like I need a counter bore or recess to fit the square knot?
worked great last night on the shake down, two races last night and took a 4th and a 1st but pulled too hard on the last down wind leg and the half hitch pulled apart letting the board come almost all the way up!

Any advice? Ahab

The other JB told me...

"use 5/32" amsteel line and drill a hole slightly bigger than 5/32". Tie off with a figure 8 knot. Works for me.

Noticed you haven't registered for the Worlds yet...pre-reg deadline is August 1. It'll cost $150 more after that."
